Product Description:
Entresto® is a prescription medicine that contains a combination of sacubitril, a neprilysin inhibitor, and valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is indicated to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in adult patients with chronic heart failure (NYHA class II–IV) and reduced ejection fraction. Entresto improves heart function by enhancing natriuretic peptide levels while blocking the harmful effects of angiotensin II.

Product Features:

• Active Ingredients: Sacubitril 24 mg / Valsartan 26 mg

• Total Strength: Equivalent to 50 mg of sacubitril/valsartan

• Dosage Form: Film-coated tablet

• Tablet Appearance: Oval, biconvex, yellow tablet debossed with “NVR” on one side and “LZ” on the other

• Quantity: Bottle of 60 tablets

• Administration: Twice daily (usually as initial or adjusted dose)

Indications:

• Treatment of chronic heart failure (HFrEF) to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and heart failure hospitalization

• Often used in place of an ACE inhibitor or ARB in patients stable on those therapies
