Product Description:
Eliquis® is a prescription medication containing apixaban, a direct Factor Xa inhibitor used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF). It is also indicated for the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), as well as for the prevention of DVT following hip or knee replacement surgery.
