Eliquis® (apixaban) 2.5 mg Tablets – Oral Anticoagulant
Product Description:
Eliquis® is a prescription oral anticoagulant containing apixaban, a selective Factor Xa inhibitor. It is used to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation, as well as for the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). Eliquis 2.5 mg is also indicated for DVT/PE prevention following hip or knee replacement surgery, and as reduced maintenance dosing in long-term treatment protocols.
