Product Description:
Linzess® is a prescription medication containing linaclotide, a guanylate cyclase-C agonist that is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) and chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults. Linzess works by increasing the secretion of chloride and water into the intestines, helping to soften stools and stimulate bowel movements. By improving gastrointestinal motility, Linzess alleviates symptoms such as constipation, bloating, and abdominal discomfort associated with IBS-C and CIC.
