Product Description:
Jentadueto® is a combination medication that contains linagliptin (a DPP-4 inhibitor) and metformin hydrochloride (a biguanide), used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Linagliptin works by increasing insulin secretion and decreasing glucose production in the liver, while metformin helps lower blood sugar by improving insulin sensitivity and reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver. Jentadueto is typically prescribed when diet and exercise alone have not been sufficient to control blood sugar levels.
